Review: I finally got to see this film in theaters bargain here in El Paso on Labor Day. I originally hadnt thought much about the film, but as time went on he left the regular theaters here in town and found that Id like Id will not see. I remember hearing some foreign critics blasting the movie as terrible and wanted to judge for myself. Im very glad I finally saw this movie movie.This not common Clash of the Titans / Jason and the kind of movie where the gods constantly displayed and portrayed as more important and more powerful than humble people Argonauts. In fact, this movie completely ignores the so-called gods and instead puts the focus where it belongs - on the warrior. I have studied the Iliad, and other tales of the mythical Trojan War from my days as an elementary school geek obsessed with mythology and Dungeons and Dragons. Instead of being directed to the audience this film demystifies the Trojan War, and treat it in a way that could actually happen. We can see that the officers relating to their permanent so-called gods come across as fools. One of the most convincing lines when Hector (Eric Bana) is related to the fact that Apollo did not strike down Achilles (Brad Pitt) for the desecration of the statue. He says that a lot of Hector seems to doubt the gods, he learned that he was a long-time critic vorship.I Brad Pitt as a second-rate talent who became famous only because of his appearance, but in this film he surprised me. He is the real star of the film. Achilles is easily the most interesting and entertaining character. I welcome the efforts of Brad Pitts to his character a tragic hero. Achilles admits that he is the son of the goddess and immortal or invulnerable. The film basically shows how rumors can blossom into a legend in itself. Achilles GOT immortal legend. He even refers to this in my favorite scene, when inspires his people and begins to invade heavily outnumbered and even triumphs. Later in the same scene he scoffs at the so-called Gods Greeks and Trojans worship decapitating the statue. I found this scene symbolic of the film. The gods are nothing of the two characters and supernatural powers audience.Instead impossible feats were treated with realism. Even Achilles death is more realistic than the myth. The myth of Paris killed Achilles with an arrow, but because he has the ability to fight hand is actually driven Apollo.If is one thing I did not like this film to the transformation of Paris into some kind of hero. Paris was a coward in the original myth, and saw no reason to be transformed overnight hero in the film. I guess Orlando Bloom fans could not carry him as a villain and get uninspired transform Paris into a better shooter from Robina Hood.Vhile this movie was nowhere near the epic masterpiece that manufacturers or hope that it is as advertised, does not deserve the bad publicity received from critics. I salute the makers of this film and look forward to buying it on DVD.

Review: First, let me say that X3 was a big step film. If you want to have a great time at the movies, this is a fun movie to watch. However, as a fan of X-Men and the film trilogy, and some problems with the film. There are a lot of characters are undeveloped. Is not a problem as we are already know, but are those we do not. There is also information unneeded for some characters arent actually in the movie. Some characters play major roles, but we dont get to know them. Others have limited space, and the information is useless. For example, a character introduced in the introduction to the film, but is barely visible in the rest of the film. The movie was way too short. It seems like everyone in a hurry in the film. If it is 2 and a half hours, he would be able to develop all of the characters and story more important to return to some of the characters. The movie is an action packed and fun, but not really draw you into it through the first two so, say dog ​​PLA scenes. Overall, it was worth seeing on the big screen, and I'm glad I saw. It's a good movie. But again, you'll be a bit disappointed as X-Men fans. 7/10.One last thing, stay after the credits for the last scene. It seems anyone who has seen the entire movie.

Review: We just got back from the earliest showing we could get a babysitter. I can say with confidence that my fears about this movie were totally unfounded, and I agree now Guy Ritchie and these writers in the highest regard. Without going into spoilers, here are the three questions posed completely at rest: 1) After watching the trailer, my biggest concern was the use of bullet-time type of photography during a Victorian era films. I thought it would be totally anachronistic and meaningless. But they had already established in this film, and the previous one, which Holmes is hyper-aware of his surroundings. The shot time was used to convey how traumatic some scenes were a person with this type of consciousness, and it worked beautifully.2) Jared Harris as vanilla and soft in the promo pictures and trailers that I could think about him as a formidable opponent for Holmes. But his Moriarty is so devious and cunning, and at one point even sadistic, I do not think they could have made a better choice. A few times I felt he was channeling his father (outstanding Richard Harris), but the warmth and empathy as the late actor transported. Can you imagine Richard Harris as a cunning, calculating perfectionist thats has no interest in human life? You wont have after seeing his son. Its scary. And he sings.3) Holmes compared with Watson (and on a small scale, Irene Adler) well developed. Speak louder than it would be for spoilery.So, watch this w / my husband (who is a die-hard Sherlock fan, and used to read Sherlock Holmes aloud to me every rainy night, complete w / vocals) was a fantastic experience. We can not wait to see it again and own it.

Review: This film was a surprise BELM "because I thought it would be more of a horror movie ... I wouldnt call this, Id call it a great suspense thriller with a twist here and there. I love casting and storyline. The actors did a good job, especially. Male lead young student. This is a story that could actually happen, IMO. Music was a big part of the movie, too. So this band, as I was aware, it is not far from the scene, but built their worries! It was like another character. Definitely worth seeing for all the right reasons. Very entertaining and kept my attention. All this without the blood and guts galore - makes me think of the old Alfred Hitchcock-type thriller depend more on participation and imagination of viewers. Finally, I thought that I thought the plot, but I was surprised by how much what's wrong with me. He smiled on his way out of the theater.

Review: This is the story of boy meets girl, but this is not a love story that will unfold. Although I've been a big fan, I could not bring myself to go there, instead I stayed in my PAISY in film began. An hour and a half later, I was standing and clapping for all it was worth. In fact the whole film era, with each of the members of the audience whistling, clapping and laughing at the brilliance all. Joseph Gorden Levitt, (the only cast member who introduced the film) ran on stage and started answering questions. Bubbling with enthusiasm jumped around, laughing, crying, and holding many of us entertained. He answered questions with the right answers and dumb straight straight from hell with silly answers. And finally ran up and down the stage everything filmed with a camera, saying that he would remember the day forever, I'm sure I returned do.Then PAISY Wha , mo is that all movies I swallowed my pride, approached and shook his hand saying, incredible performance, you are an inspiration.
